Marketing Associate

Location: Boston, MA

UpperEdge is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our growing team! Reporting to our Marketing Director, the Marketing Associate will be focused on assisting with the development and implementation of marketing programs and measuring their impact. Channels include digital, social, PR, conferences, and events.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support marketing campaigns that will increase UpperEdge’s exposure in the market
  • Add value to our efforts in SEO, Marketing Automation and Social Media to increase incoming qualified leads and engagement efforts
  • Develop and manage content for website and social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
  • Contribute to copywriting and produce written material to support marketing campaigns. Write and proofread web, digital, and print content, including case studies, product collateral, and presentation material
  • Manage production of short videos and podcasts
  • Help develop and maintain press list and strategy to make UpperEdge frequently quoted in the press
  • Provide graphic design support and create promotional materials
  • Track and analyze marketing program results (campaign response, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to measure success and incorporate findings into future campaigns
  • Ensure that materials and messages are supportive of, and consistent with, marketing strategies and branding
  • Regularly monitor social media networks for relevant and appropriate content
  • Assist with event planning

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field) with 1-3 years related experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Platforms (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google document creation and management
  • Experience with Marketing automation software
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Possesses strong research, written, oral, editing, and organizational skills
