Chip Hanna

As UpperEdge’s SAP Practice Leader, Chip is responsible for supporting the delivery of IT sourcing, negotiation and supplier management advisory services with a specific focus on SAP.

Prior to joining UpperEdge, Chip led the creation and implementation of a new supplier management function at Lowe’s and was responsible for managing a portfolio of over $1B in third-party spend. He supported multiple business units including Marketing, IT, Customer Experience, HR, Travel and Aviation.

Prior to Lowe’s, Chip spent seven years at CVS Health where he co-founded and developed the IT procurement function, managing $1B in spend first as a Sourcing Manager, Contracts Manager and then becoming the Director of IT Sourcing and Vendor Management. In this role, he was responsible for IT sourcing, contract and supplier management across CVS Health and its affiliates.

Prior to CVS Health, Chip held various managerial roles sourcing, negotiating, and drafting complex, high-value IT agreements for SPX and AT&T.

Chip earned both his B.A. in Political Science and J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
