As football fans, we’re pleased that the NFL lockout is over. As frequent advisors to and direct participants in intense negotiations, we’re reminded that it’s possible to resolve disputes and strengthen partnerships by focusing on big-picture goals and common concerns.
In our original post about the lockout, we highlighted how trust, transparency and clarity about objectives are the keys to building successful partnerships – in professional football, IT sourcing, and many other pursuits.
