As UpperEdge’s Strategic Account Executive, Jared is responsible for new business development and identifying opportunities for UpperEdge to provide its IT Sourcing, Negotiation, and Supplier Management advisory services. Jared is focused on finding organizations who are looking to optimize pre-existing investments, evaluate financially sound licensing alternatives, and manufacture leverage to negotiate best-in-class deals supported by UpperEdge’s extensive market intelligence.
Jared has over 20 years of business development experience. Before joining UpperEdge, Jared’s career covered a broad range of sales positions in market research, financial services, and SaaS. Most recently, Jared was a Senior Account Executive at Gartner where he was responsible for new business development and account management in supply chain and operations within the Fortune 1000.
Before his time at Gartner, Jared was in sales at Cisco / WebEx with a focus on SaaS based collaborative platforms. Prior to this, Jared worked in new business development at Forrester, a market research firm and CCBN / Thomson a financial services company.
Jared has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Maine at Orono.
