UpperEdge is seeking a professional, high-energy individual to join the company as a DevOps Intern. The intern will work closely with our CTO to identify and execute upon opportunities to improve the operational, security and functional technology footprint. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and eager individual to gain hands on experience with application support and maintenance, cloud infrastructure, software development, and operationalizing technology.

In this role you will have the opportunity to focus on performance tuning and optimizing the company website, learn how we integrate with third party technology platforms, learn about the technology stack for our customer-facing technology platform, understand and affect the cloud infrastructure that is the foundation of our business. The ideal candidate will have a technical academic foundation, with specific interest and skillset in software development or information systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze the company’s website platform and infrastructure.
- Recommend and implement performance enhancements that align with both business and technology priorities.
- Review the operational business architecture.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the areas of security and operational data flow.
- Gain a foundational understanding of UpperEdge’s custom SaaS platform.
- Identify potential technical or functional enhancements.
- Provide operational support for existing infrastructure.
