Job Description

UpperEdge is seeking a professional, high-energy individual to join our growing team of experts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Sales Team from a sales operation’s capacity.  The Sales Operations Specialist will take on an essential role in the development of sales-related proposals, overview decks, sales collateral and contractual material that spans the entire sales lifecycle. This individual will have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and should have the drive to work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and finalize sales overview material for prospective and existing clients
  • Develop and finalize sales proposal material for prospective and existing clients
  • Make edits and revisions to sales readout material as needed
  • Transfer proposal material into Statements of Work
  • Draft and finalize Statements of Work, MSAs, and NDAs for submission to prospective and existing clients
  • Maintain consistency throughout all sales related material inclusive of proposal decks, overview decks, and contractual documentation by following company policies
  • Maintenance and build out of sales email and transmittal templates
  • Translate and transcribe executive level meeting notes into understandable text that clearly articulates the objectives at hand
  • Review proposal sections and related proposal documents
  • Organize and file all sales related material in a professional and credible manner
  • Assist with management of all sales related document collections in addition to inventory and revision control
  • Maintain sales related templates to ensure all information is relevant, current, and reflective of any new UpperEdge service offerings
  • Attend meetings with management, delivery, and sales teams to translate requirements into proposals
  • Support sales operations on planning processes, managing projects, and preparing and scheduling of sales meetings
  • Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines
  • Work with the marketing team to create compelling visuals
  • Give presentations to the executive team
  • Create project schedules
  • Help create strategies and more efficient processes that help with the development of proposal decks, overview decks, and contractual documentation
  • Act as a key point of contact for contract drafting and execution of business operating processes between teams inclusive of back briefing relevant stakeholders

General Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in proposal and contract development may be advantageous
  • Prior experience communicating and/or working directly with a Sales team is advantageous
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – a positive attitude and high-level energy required
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines in a timely fashion
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively
  • Ability to work well both individually and in a team environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Good strategic planning abilities
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce, customer relationship management (CRM) platform, is a plus
  • Has the ability to present ideas clearly using oral, written, visual, and non-verbal communication skills and active listening skills.
  • Bachelors’ degree in a related field preferred
