Shane Griffin

As UpperEdge’s IT Sourcing & Commercial Advisory Practice Manager, Shane Griffin supports the delivery of IT Sourcing, Negotiation and Supplier Management advisory services to UpperEdge clients.

Shane has over 12 years of sourcing and procurement experience, spanning numerous industries and roles. This is Shane’s second stint at UpperEdge, following 6 years of corporate procurement, from Strategic Sourcing Specialist to Head of Procurement. Most recently Shane was Head of Procurement at Fireblocks, a crytpo security company, where he laid the groundwork for the procurement function and provided near-universal support across all the business’ purchasing needs.

For three years prior to his time at Fireblocks, Shane was the Senior Global IT Category Manager at Indigo Ag. He joined Indigo as the second procurement resource and built the IT category from the ground up. Achieving greater than 10% savings rate for the IT category in each of his first two years, Shane molded Indigo’s IT procurement from raw data and reactionary processes into a highly organized and cost-efficient practice.

Shane received his B.S. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and was commissioned as a US Air Force officer through their AFROTC program.
